Center Star grew directly from the breakthrough of Compass Rose — the same fish scale framework, but pushed toward a new question: what happens when two forms compete for the same space?
The containing arches function almost as a cut-out here, the scales pressing against the star at the center of each repeat. Depending on color and contrast, one form steps forward while the other recedes with the balance shifting across every colorway. The same pattern but a different experience.
